I finished reading Blind Fall by Christopher Rice (New York: Scribner, 2007; ISBN-13: 978-0-7432-9399-0). It is a quick reading 286 pages. It was an enjoyable read. The main character, John Houck, was a somewhat stereotypical ex-Marine, not that there is anything wrong with that. John feels obliged to help his former commander's boyfriend who is being framed for his murder by a homophobic sheriff's deputy. Lost of psychological drama from fractured family relationship enhance the suspense.
