Today is the 157th anniversary of the birth of my great-great-grandmother, Adda R. Seely. Adda was born 09 September 1851 in Barlow Township, Washington County, Ohio.

Adda was third daughter and third child (of six) born to Joseph and Caroline S. (Richards) Seely. On 04 February 1874, Adda married Lewis C. Hayes. Adda and Lewis had seven children: four daughters and three sons. Adda died 30 April 1907 in Vincent, Washington County, Ohio.
