MFH: 24 November

Today is the 253rd anniversary of the marriage of my 6th great-grandparents, Anna Elisabetha Catharina Hoffmann and Johann Peter Bender. Anna and Johann were married on 24 November 1755 in Altenkirchen, Kusel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.

Anna was born 13 January 1737 in Altenkirchen, Kusel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, the elder daughter (of two) and second child (of four) of Hanß Michael Elisabetha Catharina (Schütz) Hofmann. Johann was born 09 March 1726 in Altenkirchen, Kusel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, the youngest son (of three) and youngest child (of four) of Johann Georg and Anna Elisabetha (Cloß) Bender. Anna and Johann had eight children, two daughters and six sons. Johann died in Altenkirchen in November 1777 and Anna died there on 27 November 1799.
